Vietnamese healthcare applies many AI solutions to support medical examination and treatment
At the latest event, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui The Duy said that in the health sector, artificial intelligence (AI) is helping doctors diagnose diseases early and take advantage of experiences from many cases.

The program of the Forum for Cooperation and Partnership in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Digital Transformation in the Vietnam - Korea Health Sector 2023 has been approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam, the Korea Ministry of Science and Information Technology held the event in Hanoi. Participating in the event, there were Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui The Duy, Korean Vice Minister of Science and Information Technology Park Yun Gyu, and Korean and Vietnamese experts, scientists, and business representatives in health care field.

The purpose of the program is to promote the relationship of joint development cooperation to exchange information and seek cooperation opportunities in the field of artificial intelligence and medical digital transformation of Vietnam - Korea, at the same time, product exhibition, connecting businesses of the two countries in this field.

Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui The Duy shared that the development of big data has integrated great lessons from millions of experts. If before, each expert would have only one brain to perform a single study, but with the support of AI, it helps to integrate experiences, accumulate cases, and cure diseases from many expert doctors from many countries around the world.

Deputy Minister Duy revealed that Vietnam and Korea have a cooperation framework to develop AI application systems. He hopes this partnership will help respond to the public health challenge.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Park Yun Gyu, Vice Minister of Science and Information Technology of Korea, highly appreciated the cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam in pioneering digital technology promotion.
