Cooperate to improve the application capacity of cloud computing and artificial intelligence in Vietnam
Recently, Viettel Business Solutions Corporation (Viettel Solutions), a member of the Military Industry and Telecommunications Group (Viettel) and Microsoft Vietnam Company signed a strategic cooperation agreement to promote the application of 4.0 technology solutions, such as Cloud, Data and AI in many fields, promoting digital services in Vietnam.
Representatives of Viettel Business Solutions Corporation and Microsoft Vietnam Company were at the signing ceremony.
According to the signed agreement, Viettel and Microsoft will jointly deploy cloud computing technology, which combines Viettel Cloud infrastructure and Microsoft Azure Cloud platform (one of the four largest cloud ecosystems in the world under Microsoft) to improve product development, localization of Microsoft applications and distribution in the country.
On the Microsoft side, using Viettel Cloud's data center infrastructure as well as understanding of the domestic market will help Azure Cloud to solve customer problems in the public administration segment. With Azure Cloud ecosystem as well as data and artificial intelligence services, such as Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, Viettel will have many opportunities to cooperate, develop solutions and discover more potential business in strongly developing services, such as Speech Technology, OpenAI, Chat GPT and etc.
The two sides also planned to co-create digital solutions based on the foundation and capabilities of each business. Viettel will take advantage of Microsoft's data technology and artificial intelligence to build specific industry service packages for partners (telecommunications, banking, security, retail).
With the cooperation with Viettel, Microsoft products will aim to be Vietnameseized in accordance with the Vietnamese market, making it easier for customers to apply. Besides, the project on language technology Speech & Language is also researched by the two sides to serve the purpose of multilingual translation. Customers will have access to international standard technology and suitable for the needs of Vietnamese people.
Within the framework of the signing ceremony, the Microsoft representative also shared information about a number of Cloud cooperation models that Microsoft has succeeded with regional and global telecommunications service providers, such as Jio, AT&T, LG. U+, Vodafone, or Singtel, thereby offering specific cooperation possibilities of the two sides.
