Can Tho University scientific research student Conference in 2023
Following the success of the scientific research student Conference, on June 22, 2023, Can Tho University held the Conference: "Scientific research students of Can Tho University in 2023". Attending the Conference, there were Prof. Dr. Ha Thanh Toan - Rector of the University, leaders, scientific research assistants of affiliated units and a large number of instructors and students.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Prof. Dr. Ha Thanh Toan - Rector of the University affirmed that, besides training, scientific and technological activities play a very important role in improving the quality of training and scientific research of Can Tho University. Over the years, the University's science and technology activities have achieved many important achievements. The results in the process of scientific research and technology transfer contributed to improving the quality of training and socio-economic development of the Mekong Delta. With the orientation to build Can Tho University into a university of excellence, research and multidisciplinary training, Can Tho University has constantly promoted scientific research activities and considered this as a one of the most important tasks of the School.

In 2023, Can Tho University established 4 professional councils to organize the evaluation of students' research projects, including: Natural Science, Agricultural Science, Engineering Science and Technology, Faculty of and Social Science and Humanities. As a result, there were 16 winning works, including: 4 First prizes, 4 Second prizes, 4 Third prizes and 4 Consolation prizes. Notably, high-award-winning projects in the fields of social sciences and humanities have had articles published in prestigious international journals, thereby affirming the University's position in the region and the world.
