CESTI attended a dialogue conference on research and application of science and technology to enterprise production
The conference was organized by Dong Thap Province Department of Science and Technology on March 12 with the topic "Research and application of science and technology to enterprise production".

At the conference, representatives of Dong Thap Department of Science and Technology presented a report on the results of investigation activities, surveying technology needs of businesses, information about the Department and policies to support innovation activities, Central and provincial technology transfer. Center for Design, Manufacturing and Testing (Department of Technology Application and Development - Ministry of Science and Technology) provides information on the results of assessing the capacity and production technology level of key industries in the province (Dong Thap) in the period of 2020 - 2023.

Thereby, the conference also listened, exchanged and discussed the need for innovation and technology transfer of businesses; about the difficulties and limitations of businesses in accessing innovation, technology transfer and innovation to serve production and business activities, and carry out science and technology (S&T) tasks using and does not use the State budget.

It is known that CESTI (Center for Science and Technology Information and Statistics, under the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City) attended the conference as a co-chair, supporting information sharing, answering questions, connecting the technology needs of businesses in Dong Thap province. In addition, the conference also had the participation of Polytechnic University (Ho Chi Minh City National University) and departments in Dong Thap, businesses and cooperatives in the province. The conference is organized to promote the application of science, technology and innovation in the business community; improve the contribution of science and technology in actual production and business; Improve innovation capacity in businesses, and etc.

CESTI representative said that at the conference, businesses and cooperatives stated needs that need to be transferred such as production process of dried mangoes, canned sour young mangoes, production process of alternative jackfruit powder cocoa creates a chocolate scent or the process of producing canned crispy carp. On the expert side, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology has proposed solutions and technological processes ready to transfer to businesses and cooperatives. After the conference, CESTI, as a companion, will continue to support and connect businesses to work directly, discuss, negotiate and lead to cooperation and technology transfer.
