The University of Technology cooperated with LG in technology development
On March 13, 2024, the University of Technology (UET), Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) signed a cooperation agreement in technology development, internships and student recruitment with LG air and home appliance solutions Research Center in Korea.

 

The cooperation between UET and the LG Air and Home Appliance Solution Research Center in Korea will help UET lecturers and students have the opportunity to exchange and recruit. In addition, Korean partners will coordinate with UET to develop technologies, use research equipment and exchange technologies.

Prof. Dr. Chu Duc Trinh - UET Principal said that UET is one of the members participating in cooperation with Korean partners since the early days of its establishment of training, technology and engineering. UET is also one of the leading technologies and engineering universities in Vietnam, providing high-quality human resources in this field for technologies and engineering businesses.

For LG Group, many alumni of the University are working and holding management positions, contributing to the development of LG. This result is LG Group's recognition of UET's training quality, as well as the capacity of graduates. Thence, the University has a basis to continue developing training programs within the University. Professor Chu Duc Trinh hopes that this signing ceremony is one of the cooperative activities contributing to realizing the goal of becoming a leading technology, engineering and research university in Vietnam and the region.

Mr. Saikee Oh - Vice President of LG Air and Home Appliance Solution Research Center in Korea expressed his joy when cooperating with UET. Mr. Saikee Oh affirmed that this signing ceremony is a historic cooperation between the two parties with the desire to promote collaborative research networks and search for new ideas through diverse perspectives and cultural contexts between  Vietnam and Korea, and etc.
