Can Tho inspected the application of solutions to issue invoices and transmit data for petroleum businesses in the city
The work results show that, in general, basic stores comply well with legal regulations in petroleum business activities; Stores ensure to maintain enough gasoline and oil supply to the market, do not let gasoline business operations be interrupted, sell at the correct price and sales time as listed and registered with the Department of Industry and Trade. Regarding the implementation of Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP on regulating the issuance of electronic invoices for each sale, petroleum businesses said they clearly understand the regulations. They have applied solutions to issue electronic invoices and transmit petroleum business data with each sale.

However, according to some businesses, especially small and family-sized businesses, they got difficulty in large funding implementation. In addition, human resources are also a problem because most salespeople are not qualified to use computers, business owners only rely on the amount of money collected and information recorded from sales staff at the end of the shift to export bills. From those difficulties and obstacles, businesses requested support to reduce the cost of purchasing invoices and information so that small businesses in remote areas know more about the Government's Decree to implement better.

Representative of the Inspection Team, Mr. Ngo Anh Tin - Director of Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology said that the purpose of the inspection is to grasp the actual situation of applying solutions to issue electronic invoices and transmit data for petroleum businesses according to each sale, actual technical infrastructure, level, ability to meet deployment. Can Tho has 268 petrol stations implementing electronic invoicing solutions with the number of pumping stations being 1,016. Up to now, 964/1,016 pump pillars have applied solutions to issue electronic invoices and transmit petroleum business data for each sale to Tax authorities, reaching a rate of 94.8%.
