Building a sustainable development management model for Can Tho city until 2030, with a vision to 2050
In order to select organizations and individuals to carry out the social science project "Building a sustainable development management model for Can Tho city until 2030, with a vision to 2050", Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology had a council meeting in the afternoon of April 11, 2024. The Council was presided by Dr. Ngo Anh Tin - Director of Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology. The project will be carried out Dr. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai. Region IV Academy of Politics is an implementing unit.

Overview of the meeting

The research objective of the project is to theoretically generalize, survey project, evaluate the current situation and propose solutions for sustainable development management of Can Tho city in a sustainable direction, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

Council's members

The content of the project includes: Identifying (selecting, building) the theoretical framework, referencing domestic and foreign experiences on management models, evaluating the current status of management models and building sustainable development management models, reducing greenhouse gas emissions for application in Can Tho city; Assess the current status of the management model in Can Tho city; Pilot model of sustainable development management in Can Tho city until 2030 towards sustainable development, reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Tra Noc ward - Ninh Kieu district - Can Tho city; Proposing strategies and plans to implement the sustainable development management strategy of Can Tho city to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
