Removing difficulties in implementing national science and technology programs in the health sector
On April 12, 2024, in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology (MOST) Tran Hong Thai presidwd a meeting among the Ministry of Science and Technology and scientists and program leaders on task implementation of National level science and technology in the health sector.

Recently, the Ministry of Science and Technology has focused and accelerated the implementation of national science and technology programs until 2030, including contents related to the health sector, with a focus on 4 national programs: "Research, application and development of advanced technology in medicine and health care product development" (Code KC.10/2021-2030); "Research, application and development of advanced technologies to serve the pharmaceutical and pharmaceutical industry” (Code KC.11/2021-2030) and “Research, application and development of biotechnology” (Code KC.12/2021-2030; “Research and produce vaccines for human use by 2030."
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Tran Hong Thai affirmed the important professional role of the national science and technology program steering committees. At the same time, he emphasized that the research team of national science and technology programs not only organizes the implementation of research tasks, but also needs to proactively detect problems and obstacles in the process of implementing regulations on management of these science and technology tasks (directly, task management and financial management) and synthesize and send to functional units of the Ministry of Science and Technology. Thereby, helping the Ministry of Science and Technology perfect the law on Science and Technology, creating an increasingly favorable legal corridor for scientific research and technological development activities.
