Launching the Institute of Blockchain Technology and Artificial Intelligence

At the Launching Ceremony of the Blockchain Technology and Artificial Intelligence Institute (ABAII), Deputy Minister of Science and Technology (MOST) Nguyen Hoang Giang highly appreciated the efforts of ABAII in particular and the Vietnam Blockchain Association in general in Policy consultation process and promotion of popularization and training of blockchain technology and artificial intelligence (AI).

ABAII has 7 members of the Management Council, 14 members of the Scientific Council who are leading PhDs and engineers in the field of blockchain and AI.

On April 24, 2024, within the framework of the 2nd Anniversary Celebration and the Annual Forum "Blockchain and AI: The Future Revolution", Vietnam Blockchain Association launched the ABAII Institute with 7 Council management members, 14 members of the Scientific Council are PhDs, leading engineers in the field of blockchain technology and AI, and 5 members of the Executive Board in all 3 regions: North - Central - South.

ABAII aims to train and popularize blockchain and AI for 1 million people by 2030, including 100,000 students at 30 universities across the country through many specific activities, such as workshop, training, hackathon, ideathon, Unitour program 2024 for students or online legal projects to support legal advice for the large community.

Speaking at the Launch Ceremony, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Hoang Giang highly appreciated the efforts of ABAII in particular and the Vietnam Blockchain Association in general in the policy consultation process and promoting the popularization and training of blockchain technology and AI.

The Deputy Minister affirmed that research, development and application of blockchain and AI technology plays an important role in contributing to the development of S&T potential, actively contributing to the process of industrialization and modernization of the country.
