Research and develop comprehensive solutions to avoid traffic congestion in Can Tho city

In order to select organizations and individuals to implement the social science project "Research and develop comprehensive solutions to avoid traffic jams in the inner city of Can Tho", Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology had a council meeting in the morning of May 8, 2024. The Council was presided by Dr. Ngo Anh Tin - Director of Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology. The study will be carried out by Dr. Vuong Tan Duc. Transportation and Urban Development Research Center is an agency in charge of implementation.

Overview of the meeting

The objectives of the study are to: Assess the current situation and identify the causes of traffic congestion within Can Tho city; Develop scenarios and predict traffic congestion within Can Tho city until 2030 and vision to 2050; Propose overall solutions and identify priority solutions; Building a pilot model to avoid traffic congestion in Can Tho city.
