Ba Ria – Vung Tau: Support for registration of protection and recognition of new plant varieties up to 60 million VND
Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province will support individuals and organizations to register for protection of inventions, industrial designs, trademarks, and recognition of new plant varieties with a budget of 15 - 60 million VND/application.

Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial People's Committee recently issued Plan No. 56/KH-UBND, to implement Resolution No. 04/2023/NQ-HDND dated July 14, 2023 of the Provincial People's Council to support registration protection for inventions, industrial designs and trademarks; Register for protection and recognition of new plant varieties in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
Subjects of application are agencies, organizations and individuals involved in managing and registering protection for inventions, industrial designs and trademarks; Registering for protection and recognition of new plant varieties in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, under the Intellectual Property Development Program until 2030.
Specifically, support for patent protection applications and registration for protection and recognition of new plant varieties: 30 million VND/application; For industrial design and trademark protection applications: 15 million VND/protection certificate.
Level of support for registration of protection abroad: 60 million VND/validly accepted application, corresponding documents according to regulations of international organization or filing countries.
Supported subjects are required to participate and comply with the requested support contents and commit to using support funds for the right purpose. At the same time, it is necessary to report periodically or unexpectedly as required on the content of the request for support and the advantages and difficulties in the implementation process to the Department of Science and Technology of Ba Ria - Vung Tau for synthesis.
During the implementation process, if there are difficulties or problems, departments, agencies, branches, People's Committees of districts, towns, cities, agencies, organizations, businesses and relevant subjects must promptly report to the Department of Science and Technology to summarize and report to advise the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and handling and submit to the Provincial People's Council according to regulations.
