Awarding Science and Technology Press Award 2023

On May 16, 2024, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Science and Technology (M&T) held Science and Technology Press Award Ceremony 2023.

Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Hoang Giang spoke at the ceremony.

Attending the Award Ceremony, there were leaders of Central Ministries/Departments/Industries; Members of the Organization Board, Preliminary Council, Final Council of the Science and Technology Press Awards 2023 along with numerous leaders and reporters from central and local press agencies, and etc.

The Science and Technology Journalism Award is organized annually by the Ministry of Science and Technology to honor authors with outstanding journalistic works on Science and Technology. This is the recognition of the Ministry of Science and Technology in honoring journalists who have a scientific spirit, make their best efforts, explore, discover, and reflect the results of science and technology activities in the development of the country.

After 12 years of organization and implementation, on November 20, 2023, the Minister of Science and Technology issued Decision No. 2644/QD-BKHCN on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Regulations on awarding the "Newspaper Award of Science and Technology."

Through 2 rounds of Preliminary and Final judging, there were 23 works and groups of works approved and awarded by the Ministry of Science and Technology, including: Print Newspaper category (01 First Prize, 02 Second Prizes, 01 Third Prize, 02 Consolation Prizes ); Electronic Newspaper category (01 First Prize, 01 Second Prize, 01 Third Prize, 02 Consolation Prizes); Television Category (01 First Prize, 02 Second Prizes, 01 Third Prize, 02 Consolation Prizes); Broadcasting Category (01 First Prize, 01 Second Prize, 01 Third Prize, 01 Consolation Prize); Photojournalism category (02 Honorable Mentions). The winning authors/author groups received the Science and Technology Journalism Award Cup 2023, Certificates and rewards from the Award Organization Board.
