Vietnam won 3 Gold Medals at the International Innovation Exhibition (ITEX) 2024
Selected from the award-winning works in the 19th National Creativity Contest for Youth and Children in 2023, 5 Vietnamese scientific works have been awarded the Vietnam Technical Innovation Fund (VIFOTEC) displayed at the International Technology, Invention and Creativity Exhibition (ITEX) 2024.
Recently, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang noted the initial results the agricultural sector has achieved in digital transformation and said that the agricultural sector needs to continue to promote administrative procedure reform; Continue to develop industry database. The Deputy Prime Minister said that developing digital infrastructure so that databases have a synchronous connection will create the most convenience for farmers and businesses. Applications for farmers must be simple and easy to understand.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested leading information technology businesses to act as focal points on the basis of the agricultural sector providing information and data. The agricultural sector coordinates with the Ministry of Public Security to accelerate the identification of vessel systems to contribute to the fight against illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) seafood exploitation. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, It states that in the context of globalization and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the agricultural sector has been actively implementing digital transformation, including technologies such as artificial intelligence, data management, IoT, and automation in the production, processing, and consumption of agricultural products.
