Information from Hau Giang Province Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality of Hau Giang province has presided and coordinated with the Market Management Department; Inspectorate of the Department of Science and Technology; The Department of Economics/Economy and Infrastructure of districts, towns and cities of 8/8 districts, towns and cities in the province established an inspection team according to Decision No. 03/QD-TĐC dated April 15, 2024 of the Director of the Department of Standards and Quality of Hau Giang province.
The delegation focused on inspection of measurement according to the provisions of Circular No. 28/2013/TT-BKHCN dated December 17, 2013 of the Ministry of Science and Technology on regulating State inspection of measurement and Circular No. 10/ 2022/TT-BKHCN dated July 28, 2022 on amending and supplementing a number of Articles of Circular No. 28/2013/TT-BKHCN dated December 17, 2013 of the Ministry of Science and Technology regulating State inspection of measure; Circular No. 21/2014/TT-BKHCN dated July 15, 2021 of the Ministry of Science and Technology regulating measurement of pre-packaged goods.
Checking the quality of goods circulating in the market according to the provisions of Article 6 of Circular No. 01/2024/TT-BKHCN dated January 18, 2024 of the Ministry of Science and Technology on regulating State inspection of quality goods circulating in the market. Anh so on.
Inspection results and penalties
Accordingly, the delegation conducted inspections at 24 establishments, including 22 construction materials and interior decoration businesses and 02 water supply and drainage companies in 8/8 districts, towns and cities belongs to Hau Giang province.
Through inspection, the majority of establishments fully label goods, the goods show the CR mark of conformity and maintain quality declaration records in accordance with regulations; Use group 2 measuring instruments with periodic inspection.
However, at the time of inspection, some stores could not provide or update expired quality records and had to be re-announced; Some group 2 measuring instruments are no longer valid for inspection.
Regarding quality and labeling of goods, 106/106 products were tested and passed the labeling; 96/106 inspected products have certificates of conformity and product quality records. Regarding measurement, 3/30 scales and watches of all kinds have expired. And so on.
This not only protects the rights of consumers but also raises awareness of business establishments about legal regulations in the field of production and business.
