Exciting Education and Science - Creativity Festival 2024
In the morning of May 29, at Hong Bang Secondary School (Ho Chi Minh City), the Education and Science - Creativity Festival 2024 took place. It was organized by the People's Committee of District 5 with the theme "Green City" attracted nearly 1,000 teachers, parents, pupils, union members and grassroots unions in the area.

Promoting STEM education is an important direction of the Education sector. STEM is an English term abbreviated from four words: Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths. Currently, this method also adds an art subject called STEAM. This is an educational model with an interdisciplinary approach. Instead of studying each subject separately and discretely, STEM integrates knowledge from many different fields, combines theory and practice, and trains diverse thinking, help children thoroughly understand the origin of the problem by feeling, hearing, seeing, and doing with their hands.
This year's Education and Science - Creativity Festival features exciting activities with diverse content. Students participating in the festival can visit robot display stores, technology game corners, assemble models, and experience interesting activities, such as controlling robots, 3D glasses, 3D drawing boards, and assembling products using 3D modeling based on the application of physical and electrical principles for assembly and application in real life.
Thereby, creating a premise to promote schools in District 5 in particular and Ho Chi Minh City has generally implemented well the Project "Smart education and lifelong learning for the period of 2020-2030". Teaching with a STEM approach helps pupils become interested in class, teachers promote creativity, improve teaching effectiveness, and contribute to the effective implementation of the digital transformation program in the education sector.
