Can Tho startups participated in the 5th Creative Startup Week - TechFest Quang Nam 2024

TechFest Quang Nam 2024: The 5th Innovation and Startup Week took place jubilantly at March 24 Square, Tam Ky, Quang Nam, from June 5 to June 9, 2024.

To facilitate the meeting and sharing of experiences among members of the startup ecosystem as well as introduce typical startup ideas and projects of the city, Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology participated in TechFest Quang Nam 2024 with more than 70 typical startup products and OCOP products. TechFest Quang Nam 2024, the 5th Creative Startup Week of Quang Nam province, provided a platform to share and introduce outstanding startup ideas and projects from Can Tho city, while also facilitating conditions for the connection of supply and demand and investment between localities, as well as between Vietnam and the world.

Opening ceremony

On February 26, 2024, Can Tho City People's Committee issued Official Document No. 682/UBND-KGVX on participating in the 5th Creative Startup Week - TechFest Quang Nam 2024 with the theme: "Intellectual property and digital technology - Creative startup platform ”. The event aims to realize the goals of the Government's Startup Project, as well as encourage the creative startup movement until 2030. At the same time, it contributes to raising awareness of the role of Science and Technology in economic and social development. The goal of Techfest Quang Nam 2024 is to build a startup culture, create motivation for innovation, and stimulate the spirit of startup and innovative startups. The theme "Intellectual Property and Digital Technology - Innovative Startup Platform" was added to the event to promote the application of new and innovative technologies to startup projects. The event also emphasized the formation of a sustainable innovation startup ecosystem, connecting OCOP products and typical rural industrial products. In addition, it also plays an important role in expanding the startup network, attracting human resources and experiences both domestically and internationally.

Techfest Quang Nam 2024 with the presence of 330 stores, creates a diverse space to introduce products and startup projects. This event is also an opportunity for the startup community to reach out, connect with the national and international community, and promote the participation of the national business and startup community. The event took place from June 5 to June 9, 2024, at 24/3 Square (Tan Thanh, Tam Ky City, Quang Nam province). The opening ceremony took place from 19:00 - 19:20, June 6, 2024, and the closing ceremony was from 08:00 - 09:00, June 9, 2024.
