Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology trainined on using GenAI and ChatGPT
GenAI can be applied to specific situations, such as building personal assistants; analyze and evaluate data, draw graphs; look up academic documents; planning and implementing programs and events; professional translator; Summarize and record meeting minutes.

On June 11, 2024, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology organized a training session "Overview of GenAI and ChatGPT applications". The rapporteur is Master Ngo Huu Thong (Permanent Deputy Director of the Institute of Applied Research and Business Innovation - 3AI).

Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the rapidly growing technology fields with great potential. Advances in AI are providing new tools and strategies to solve a variety of business problems. GenAI, a subfield of AI, has attracted significant attention for its ability to generate content, whether it is text, images, video or audio. What's special is that GenAI can create creative and contextually appropriate text, helping to save users' time and effort.

ChatGPT is a chatbot whose main function is to develop language based on artificial intelligence technology. It is continuously trained to maintain seamless conversations, such as automatic and creative text snippets. ChatGPT is built on the foundation of GenAI, a subfield of AI that focuses on generating new outputs rather than analyzing data. GenAI uses neural networks to generate content, such as text, images, video or audio, from different types of input. The basic idea behind GenAI is to teach computers to generate content that resembles human-generated content. It is powered by deep learning models that use diffusion, GPT (generative pre-trained transformer) and other techniques trained on large amounts of data to learn patterns and generate linked content and appropriate to the context.
