Speaking at the opening of the forum, Minister of Science and Technology Huynh Thanh Dat emphasized that the application, transfer of technology and innovation play an important role in improving productivity, quality and competitiveness of businesses, especially in the context of international integration with a series of new generation FTAs that have been signed and the influence of the 4.0 industrial revolution is having an increasingly profound impact.
Technological level and capacity are key factors for businesses to create products and services with competitive or superior characteristics, meeting the increasing demands of the market.
Also according to the Minister of Science and Technology, strategic competition and trade tensions between major economies in recent times have led to an increase in protectionist measures and fierce competition in Technology, along with the requirements of sustainable development goals, are practical issues facing businesses.
This is an issue that creates great pressure forcing businesses to implement radical and drastic solutions to overcome key challenges in absorbing technology, innovating technology, and gradually moving towards technological autonomy in accordance with the green and sustainable technology direction.
Comrade Huynh Thanh Dat proposed that the High Quality Vietnamese Goods Business Association coordinate with the Ministry of Science and Technology in building and developing a connection network, helping businesses and individuals find cooperation opportunities, invest with international partners; expand business network and create new development opportunities; Access new technological achievements and trends.
