AI provides the ability to take data from various sources, validate it, and analyze it using tools like predictive analytics and machine learning. Thereby, the potential of AI in education is huge, acting as a catalyst for educational transformation for all stakeholders (from individual students to higher management levels, such as the Ministry of Education and Training). However, besides the core technological values, deploying AI applications in the field of education can also come with potential risks, so it needs to be especially important Paying attention to the ethical and social aspects of AI, such as privacy, protection and use of learner data; preventing discrimination based on gender, race, socio-economic characteristics and differences in ability levels; prevent the spread of social and cultural prejudices, and etc.

Regarding the current status of AI development and application in the field of education in Vietnam, Dr. Ton Quang Cuong - University of Education, Hanoi National University affirmed that the application of technologies, such as computer vision, machine learning, natural language processing, smart robots, automation and sensors, generative AI, virtual technology, and etc. have been and will quickly expand to the entire Vietnamese education system from general education through to university or vocational education, business training, non-formal education - lifelong education... The popularity of AI applications in the field of education and the importance of this field are creating a great need to identify and evaluate ethical standards to maximize benefits and limit risks that AI can cause.
