Conference of civil servants, public employees and workers of the Department of Science and Technology in 2025
In the afternoon of April 25, 2025, Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology held a conference for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to summarize the results achieved in 2024 and set out directions and tasks for 2025.

Attending the conference, there were Dr. Ngo Anh Tin - Member of the City Party Committee, Director of Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology; Ms. Tran Hoai Phuong, Mr. Tran Dong Phuong An, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thanh Binh - Deputy Director of the Department, Mr. Tran Ba ​​Quang - Chairman of the Grassroots Trade Union, along with leaders and all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Department. At the conference, delegates listened to and discussed many important contents, such as reports on reviewing the implementation of policies and plans for 2024, supervision, support and emulation movements, thereby clarifying the achievements and aspects that need to be improved in the Department's operations.

In 2024, the Department of Science and Technology has made efforts to exceed many set targets, ensuring strict implementation of democratic regulations, making clear work plans, assigning reasonable tasks, closely monitoring and regularly inspecting. Thanks to that, the sense of responsibility, spirit of cooperation, internal discipline and coordination between departments have been promoted effectively, contributing to the overall achievements of the agency. The conference also set out the main directions and tasks for 2025, focusing on implementing projects to arrange and perfect the organizational apparatus according to the direction of the central government and the city; at the same time, advising on policies to promote the development of science and technology, application of high technology, innovation and digital transformation.

In his concluding remarks, Mr. Ngo Anh Tin - Director of the Department and member of the City Party Committee acknowledged and commended the efforts and results of all cadres, civil servants and public employees in 2024. He also requested the Department's Trade Union to continue to accompany, care for the lives and protect the legitimate rights of workers, contributing to building a strong and united unit. At the same time, he emphasized the major tasks in 2025, requiring the agency to promote the spirit of solidarity and make more efforts to improve operational efficiency, contributing to promoting the development of the city's science and technology sector.
