The goal of the movement is to create a vibrant competitive atmosphere, making this activity a regular, continuous, and widespread movement in the city, contributing to raising people's awareness and digital skills, especially in artificial intelligence. It requires avoiding formalities, and having substantive, practical, and effective contents in each activity to ensure the movement spreads, connects all classes and fields, and moves towards breakthrough digital transformation.

In that context, Can Tho City always identifies the important role of digital transformation in sustainable development and international integration. The city has issued many policies, resolutions, plans and implemented dozens of information technology projects to improve the efficiency of state agencies and better serve people and businesses. Strong propaganda through many forms, such as seminars, conferences, radio, social networks, and competitions to assess technology application capacity has helped raise awareness of digital transformation in the community, promoting the active participation of officials, civil servants and people.

In addition, Can Tho has focused on building a digital government by connecting the information system and population data with the National Database, helping to shorten the time, reduce administrative procedure costs and ensure information security. Online services, such as registering for electronic accounts, creating and activating digital identities, have become regular activities, creating more favorable conditions for people and businesses in transactions, submitting documents, and handling procedures in the electronic environment, thereby improving service quality, contributing to promoting the city's comprehensive digital transformation.
