Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology accompanied Con Son agricultural tourism
In the morning of March 11, 2025, the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho City held a working session with the Con Son Agricultural Tourism Cooperative to discuss solutions for applying science and technology in developing sustainable ecotourism and agriculture.
Overview of the meeting
Attending the meeting, there were Dr. Ngo Anh Tin, Director of the Department, representatives of the Department's specialized departments, and members of the Cooperative. The main content of the meeting focused on applying scientific advances to community tourism, conserving natural resources and improving the quality of typical tourism products in Con Son.
At the meeting, representatives of the cooperative presented the current ecotourism activities, the advantages and difficulties encountered in the development process, and proposed support from the Department to improve operational efficiency and expand the market. Mr. Ngo Anh Tin acknowledged the innovative spirit of the cooperative and praised the preservation and promotion of cultural and agricultural values combined with ecotourism in the locality.
The Department of Science and Technology committed to coordinate with the Cooperative to implement programs to apply science and technology in production and business, helping to improve service quality, expand markets and contribute to promoting socio-economic development in Can Tho. The working session not only promoted the application of technology in tourism and agriculture, but also created momentum for the development of sustainable agricultural tourism, contributing to making a distinctive mark for eco-tourism in the West.
