Da Nang invested nearly 490 billion VND in startup workspace
The Danang Innovation and Startup Center project was identified by the City People's Committee as the key center to gather ideas, startups and attract domestic and international technology corporations. Not only a workspace, the center also aims to build a complete startup ecosystem, meeting the strong development of this field in the locality.

According to a report from the Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang City, the city currently has about 41,000 businesses, branches and representative offices in operation, but the number of seats in co-working spaces is only 800 to 900, too small compared to the growing needs of the start-up community. Currently, these spaces operate in a decentralized manner, lacking effective connection and interaction, mostly serving only fixed customer groups, causing monotony and limiting the ability to exchange and cooperate according to the development trend of global creative ecosystems.
Da Nang aims to build an open, diverse innovation space capable of comprehensively supporting startups, creating a dynamic community with easy access to experts, capital, infrastructure, support services and cross-industry cooperation opportunities. To promote technology development, the city has implemented many policy mechanisms under Resolution No.136/2024/QH15 and plans to spend about 3,500 billion VND (6-7% of public investment capital) from 2026–2030.
The issuance of Resolution No.56/2024/NQ-HDND demonstrates Da Nang's determination to become a national center of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, aiming at both the production and export of high-tech products, especially in the field of semiconductor microchips, a key strategy of the city and the whole country.
