Dong Nai trained AI applications for civil servants and public employees
On March 29, the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province organized a training course on artificial intelligence (AI) application skills for more than 1,500 officials, civil servants, and public employees of departments, branches, districts, and cities. Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Binh introduced basic knowledge about AI, guided how to install and use popular tools, such as ChatGPT, and how to write effective requests (prompts).

Leaders and civil servants of departments and branches of Dong Nai province participated in training on AI application.

By participating in the class, students also practice processing text, image, audio, and video data in real-life situations, especially serving state management activities, such as drafting documents, researching laws, building reports, planning, and presenting.

Presiding this activity, Director of Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology, Ta Quang Truong, emphasized that communication about AI is the foundation to help officials and civil servants quickly get acquainted with digital technology. At the same time, the goal is to popularize AI in the community, contributing to promoting comprehensive digital transformation. After the training course, the officials hope to be able to effectively apply AI in their daily work, while limiting the negative aspects of this technology to achieve high efficiency in digital transformation.

Speaking about the province's development strategy, Dong Nai leaders said that according to Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo, the province aims to build a sustainable digital technology industry by 2030, focusing on the Long Thanh Information Technology Park. The province aims to form a digital technology ecosystem, attract large international enterprises to invest, develop strategic technologies, such as AI, IoT, big data, cloud computing, blockchain, and contribute to the economic growth of the whole province with a digitalization rate of about 35-37% of GRDP, high-tech exports accounting for at least 50%, and online public services serving over 80% of people and businesses. Dong Nai also coordinated to organize an in-depth workshop on this topic to promote the government's strategic goals.
