Agribank has made strong digital transformation steps since 2020, applying modern technologies, such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and Open API to improve customer service quality.

In particular, typical solutions such as the Open SmartBank system, Payment Hub, and electronic authentication service via VNeID have contributed to creating a convenient, fast, and flexible digital banking experience. Investment in e-banking applications such as Agribank Plus helps customers easily access services anytime, anywhere, while minimizing procedure time, creating a solid foundation for the bank's sustainable development.

Agribank's continuous efforts in digital transformation have been recognized through many prestigious awards, such as the Certificate of Merit from the Governor of the State Bank, TOP 10 Strong Brands of Vietnam, and the Agribank Open API platform award at the Vietnam Digital Transformation Awards 2024. The bank's information technology system has consecutively received 12 Sao Khue awards for outstanding financial - banking and digital banking systems, demonstrating pioneering, innovation and successful application of modern technologies in banking operations.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Director Pham Toan Vuong affirmed that digital transformation and innovation are mandatory requirements for Agribank to develop sustainably. He emphasized that leaders at all levels must clearly recognize the importance of change, act unanimously and set an example in applying technology; at the same time, thoroughly grasp and spread the spirit of innovation to all officers and employees. Units at the headquarters need to be pioneers in using and applying technology, innovating working methods to improve efficiency, creating a positive ripple effect throughout the banking system.
