CESTI participated in exhibition on AI technology application in Vung Tau
On May 16, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau province Department of Science and Technology organized the event "Display - exhibition, discussion and report on the application of AI technology in production, business and life" with the participation of more than 500 delegates who are leaders of departments, experts, scientists, businesses, and cooperatives from provinces in the Southeast region.

This is an activity in the series of activities to celebrate Vietnam Science and Technology Day 2025, aiming to connect individuals, businesses and managers, share knowledge and experiences on AI trends and applications in life and business, and help identify opportunities and challenges of AI in business development.

At the event, there were 45 stores displaying AI product technology in the fields of digital transformation, healthcare, smart transportation, education, agriculture and AI robots. Reports in the thematic discussion mentioned global, domestic and local AI development trends, along with AI application solutions for management, operation and promotion of social, economic and smart urban development. The Ho Chi Minh City Center for Science and Technology Information and Statistics (CESTI) introduced many typical technology products such as 4.0 medical examination and treatment solutions, UAVs, ROVs, digitalization and supply chain management systems, smart home systems, automatic sensors, machine vision systems and digital transformation solutions in lighting and urban areas.

Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Science and Technology, Mr. Nguyen Ky, emphasized that promoting research and application of AI is an inevitable trend to help improve competitiveness, sustainable development and quality of life. According to him, AI has now become a necessary requirement for businesses, from optimizing processes, improving product and service quality to expanding markets. The provincial Department of Science and Technology has also oriented AI development according to policy, mentioning applications in urban management, smart operations and 24/7 virtual assistants. In 2025, the department will continue to organize seminars and training courses on AI technology to promote innovation, equip knowledge and skills for businesses to effectively exploit digital solutions in production and business activities.
