In the morning of May 16, the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park (SHTP) and the High-Tech Business Incubator (SHTP-IC), together with HDFPV Company, organized a workshop on "Developing smart Drone/UAV ecosystem in education, training and industry."
The workshop aims to promote the construction of a Drone/UAV training ecosystem closely linked to practice, contributing to educational innovation, developing high-tech human resources, and enhancing interdisciplinary cooperation in research, training and technology transfer, in line with the Government's goal of developing high-quality human resources by 2030 and vision to 2045.
In his opening speech, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Quoc Cuong emphasized the capabilities of Drones/UAVs in the fields of civil, defense, education and manufacturing. He emphasized the strategic direction of integrating smart education systems using AI and LMS through HDFPV's Drone platform, aiming to create a practical learning model and digitize the capacity of the young generation. At the same time, the global Drone/UAV industry is growing strongly and becoming a key field of many countries, in which Vietnam needs to set a goal of developing technology, rising to dominate the market in this potential segment.
The workshop also listened to opinions from universities, military experts, technology enterprises and school teachers on the current status and potential of UAV/Drone training in Vietnam. Delegates discussed the orientation of building a practical education program, from high school to university, while emphasizing the role of schools and enterprises in developing a team of highly skilled human resources. This is an important step towards forming an effective education - technology - innovation ecosystem in Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern region.
