Can Tho City's 'Digital literacy for all' movement: Bringing digital technology into every aspect of life
Can Tho City is promoting the "Digital literacy for all" movement to improve people's digital capacity to promote the digital economy, build digital government and digital society in the process of national digital transformation.

With the participation of tens of thousands of people in many localities, this movement is widely deployed, focusing on propaganda, creating changes in awareness and digital skills of the community, while building a learning society, digital citizens and a sustainable digital economy. The goal is for all subjects to be equipped with digital knowledge and skills so that no one is left behind, towards a modern, civilized society.

In 2025, Can Tho City aims for 100% of officials, civil servants, public employees and workers in the public sector to have an understanding of digital transformation, along with improving their skills in using digital platforms at work. For pupils and students, the goal is to equip them with digital knowledge to serve creative learning and safe interactions in the digital environment. At the same time, at least 80% of adults and workers in enterprises will have the knowledge and skills to use smart devices, exploit information, and actively participate in the digital economy.

By 2026, Can Tho City aims to equip all primary school students with digital knowledge and skills, and 100% of adults and workers in enterprises will have digital knowledge and skills to use devices to exploit information, safely and effectively in the digital environment. Thereby, the movement contributes to building a comprehensive digital society, taking people as the center, promoting sustainable development and comprehensive modernization of all areas of life and production.
