Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics promoted international cooperation in technology
In the afternoon of May 9, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (UEH), the School of Technology and Design (CTD), the Technology Incubation Center (ISC) and the Institute of Innovation (UII) jointly organized a scientific seminar with the theme “Bridging Frontiers: AI, Innovation, Education and the Future of US-Vietnam Tech Collaboration.”

The event attracted many prestigious speakers from the United States and Vietnam, along with startup founders, technology experts, lecturers and students interested in artificial intelligence (AI) and innovation. This is an activity in the CTD Learning & Sharing series, aiming to promote knowledge sharing, connect relevant components, improve research capacity and create sustainable values ​​for the community.

At the seminar, speakers shared practical applications of AI in businesses, emphasized the role of data, ethics in AI development, and the importance of building a team of AI engineers in Vietnam to meet the digital transformation of the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, they also analyzed how Vietnamese technology startups can leverage capital and global networks from the United States to improve their competitiveness, while emphasizing the need for a comprehensive, ethical, and sustainable AI ecosystem. Experts also emphasized that cooperation between Vietnam and the United States is not only about technology transfer but also about knowledge transfer, management thinking, and creative leadership capacity.

In the open discussion, the speakers discussed three major topics: AI and education cooperation, cross-border investment and entrepreneurship, and enhancing AI innovation and ethics. This is not only an academic forum but also an opportunity for startup founders, lecturers and students to expand their networks, seek cooperation opportunities, internships and raise capital. At the same time, the event helps attendees better visualize the development path in the global technology industry, thereby proactively approaching new trends and effectively exploiting the potential for cooperation between Vietnam and the United States in the future.
