Ho Chi Minh City sets 14 major problems in science and technology in 2025
In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City has identified 14 major issues in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation to prioritize implementation.

Building a new phase of Ho Chi Minh City technology exchange model is one of 14 major problems

These tasks have been compiled based on proposals from relevant departments, businesses and centers, aiming to promote digital transformation and develop key industries of the city. After approval, the list will be officially published on the Ho Chi Minh City electronic information portal, creating a basis for domestic and foreign businesses to participate in research and solutions.

The announcement of these problems is in accordance with the guidance of the Ministry of Science and Technology, aiming to promote the implementation of Resolution No. 03 of the Government, and is also in accordance with the direction of Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Tran Thi Dieu Thuy. During this process, the Department of Science and Technology has coordinated with many departments, centers, and enterprises to review, propose, and synthesize major problems. After the announcement, Ho Chi Minh City will also send official information to the Ministry of Science and Technology and continue to update and supplement new problems suitable for practice.

These problems focus on essential areas, such as digital urban planning, digital tourism platform development, power infrastructure, AI application in the environment, agricultural e-commerce, tax management and big data in high-tech agriculture, to promote the comprehensive development of the city towards comprehensive and sustainable digitalization.

Accordingly, the Department of Science and Technology will continue to update and supplement major problems in the coming time according to the proposals of the units.
