New advanced CDIs technology improves drinking water quality
On May 9, 2025, Saigon Innovation Hub collaborated with Maxdream to organize a Workshop "Announcement of advanced CDIs technology - Redefining water filtration".

The event aimed to connect outstanding projects of the GIC 2024 Competition with experts, investors and partners in the startup ecosystem; in which, the project "Maxdream CDI/CDIs water purifier" was honored as one of the 5 typical projects of the competition on innovative solutions in sustainable development in Ho Chi Minh City. This project demonstrates high creativity and practical ability to contribute to improving the quality of life and promoting sustainable development of the city.
Maxdream's CDIs (Capacitive Deionization Select) technology is a breakthrough in clean water treatment. Improved with a selective ion coating on the electrode surface, this technology allows selective absorption of pollutants and retention of essential minerals such as Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Silicon or Bicarbonate. Thanks to that, the technology can customize the filtration rate according to the water source, suitable for well water, tap water or saline water, helping to improve the quality of clean drinking water, both preserving natural minerals and saving energy, towards a healthy and green living standard.
At the workshop, nutrition and sustainable development experts discussed choosing water that is suitable for health according to each age, why clean water needs to contain easily absorbed natural minerals, and the health benefits of mineral water. In addition, important contents also discussed the trend of developing businesses according to ESG standards and the role of CDIs technology in supporting sustainable business development with its effective, safe and environmentally friendly water treatment features.
