This paper is suitable for storing and transmitting information in the form of text, images or graphics effectively and durably. These papers are sized and can withstand the effects of repeated use such as abrasion and tearing. Paper in sheets or rolls, packed into reams or packages, can be used and packed into boxes or packages, with each ream containing approximately 500 sheets.
Paper for printing archival documents is divided into 3 levels according to its lifespan: Level A (≥ 300 years), B (≥ 100 to < 300 years), C (≥ 50 years). Regarding size, it can follow the A0-A4 standard or by agreement, in which the sheet size has an error of ± 2mm. The main color of the paper is white, can be printed with watermark or security thread according to the agreement, ensuring uniformity and no surface defects such as wrinkles, holes or folds. In addition, technical requirements include durability, smoothness, water absorption, whiteness and opacity, complying with appropriate testing standards, such as CVN 3649 and TCVN 6725.
Regarding labeling and storage, archival paper must be clear, durable, and fully display the name, symbol, origin, specifications, production date, warnings, and applicable standard number. Roll paper must be carefully packaged to avoid affecting the quality during transportation and storage, while sheet paper must be packed into reams or wrapped in paper to protect against moisture and damage. The product must be stored in a dry, cool place, with fire prevention and anti-moth equipment, and carefully transported to ensure its integrity and long-term quality.
