PRESS RELEASE GREEN STARTUP SEMINAR: OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES IN THE DIGITAL AGE
In the context of the digital age and the strong development of technology, green startups are becoming an important and inevitable trend to create solutions, business models, and products that have a positive impact on the environment to ensure sustainable socio-economic development, with the promulgation of Resolution No.57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, Resolution No. 193/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of special mechanisms and policies to create breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, along with Resolution No.68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on private economic development, a favorable legal corridor and environment are gradually being completed.

This is a golden opportunity for startups with green ideas, daring to commit to creating the future, contributing to the prosperous and sustainable development of the country.

In order to contribute to raising awareness and promoting green startups, encouraging businesses and individuals to develop environmentally friendly business models, the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho City coordinated with relevant agencies and units to organize the Green Startup Seminar: Opportunities and challenges in the digital age.

1. Time: May 28, 2025 (Wednesday).

2. Location: Muong Thanh Hotel (Area E1, Cai Khe Ward, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City).

The program has the participation of experts and speakers from Ecotech Ecological Technology Community - Techfest Vietnam, INIS Creative Startup Institute, Felix Technology Solutions Joint Stock Company (B2B E-commerce Platform Felix.store), Checkee Technology Joint Stock Company, Can Tho University, FPT University, Mekong Delta Climate Change Research Institute, and etc.

The seminar is expected to attract about 300 delegates, including representatives of departments, branches, and sectors; institutes, universities; business support and innovation startup support organizations, business promotion organizations, incubators; Techfest Vietnam technology community; creative startup experts; experts in the fields of agriculture and environment, green transformation, digital transformation; individuals/groups of individuals and innovative startups, creative startup communities of Can Tho city and the Mekong Delta provinces; and etc. The event is organized in a live format combined with multi-platform online broadcasting and displaying green projects/products.

Through the Green Startup Seminar, we will contribute to building a sustainable creative startup ecosystem in Can Tho city, creating positive values ​​for the environment and society, while opening up new development opportunities for businesses in the digital age.
