Launching the 2nd contest for pupils, students with creative startup ideas -Startup first 2025
From May 22, 2025 to June 17, 2025, Science and Technology Information Center under the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho City officially accepts applications to participate in the pupils, student Competition with creative startup ideas in 2025 - STARTUP FIRST 2025.

This is the second year that the Department of Science and Technology has coordinated with the Department of Education and Training, the City Youth Union, Institutes, Schools and related units to organize the pupils, student Competition with Creative Startup Ideas in 2025 - STARTUP FIRST 2025.

The competition is an opportunity for pupils, students to connect, exchange and learn from experts, investors and potential customers. The Organization Baord encourages ideas, projects and start-up models in all sectors and fields, such as production, business and services according to the development orientation of the locality (agriculture, high-tech agriculture, clean agriculture, information technology, digital transformation, tourism, etc.) solutions that solve local issues of concern, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the city.

STARTUP FIRST 2025 aims to promote the spirit of innovation based on solving social problems, providing breakthrough solutions with high feasibility; creating opportunities to access new knowledge in startups and innovation; encouraging, searching and supporting student startup projects in the direction of developing research and applying science and technology into practice. At the same time, promoting the development and completion of startup projects and ideas, innovative startups.

The contest is open to individuals and groups of individuals who are university and college students with innovative startup ideas, products and projects living or studying in Can Tho; high school students, students of continuing education centers, vocational education centers in the city; middle school students are encouraged to participate. Each individual or group of individuals can participate in one or more models and projects in the contest.

Specific information is as follows:

1. Time for receiving documents: From May 22, 2025 to June 17, 2025.

2. Place for receiving documents: Documents (hard copy) according to the form sent to Can Tho Science and Technology Information Center (No. 118/3 Tran Phu, Cai Khe Ward, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City).

3. Benefits of participating in the competition:

Help students develop innovative thinking, encourage the search, proposal and realization of ideas;

Increase opportunities to connect, meet experts, consultants, entrepreneurs;

Opportunity to participate in meetings, connect directly with investors or receive project development support after the competition;

Winning projects are honored at events on science, technology, innovation in Can Tho city.

4. Contest application:

The application must be presented in Vietnamese, typed on A4 paper, Time New Roman font, size 13-14, no erasures. The application includes:

The school's official letter of introduction (Paper copy), signed by the leader and stamped by the unit (for students);

Photocopy of Student ID (for students);

Contest registration form according to the form;

Contest product description according to the form;

Model products, drawings, films, documents, etc. attached (if any).
