Hanoi will soon have the first High-Tech Biological Park
The task of the zoning plan for the construction of the Hanoi High-Tech Biology Park, scale 1/2000, has been approved by the City People's Committee. This is the legal basis for implementing the detailed planning project and establishing the Investment Project for the construction of the Hanoi High-Tech Biology Park.

The zoning plan for the Hanoi High-Tech Biological Park is located in Tay Tuu, Lien Mac, Minh Khai, Thuy Phuong and Co Nhue 2 wards, Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi city.

According to regulations, the planning project will be prepared within no more than 9 months from the date of approval of the planning task.

The planning aims to specify the orientation of the Hanoi Capital Planning projects for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050; Adjustment of the Hanoi Capital Master Plan to 2045, with a vision to 2065; Master Plan for the development of the High-Tech Park to 2020 and orientation to 2030 and the Project to establish the Hanoi Biological High-Tech Park. At the same time, implementing according to the policies and directions of the Prime Minister and Hanoi City.

Regarding planning development orientation, Hanoi Bio-Tech Park has the function of implementing high-tech activities in line with the world's high-tech development trend and Vietnam's high-tech development policies and orientations.

The research area for planning the Hanoi Biological High-Tech Park is located in the land use planning area of ​​high-tech zones. In the coming time, a number of new high-tech zones will be established by provinces and centrally-run cities with other capital sources to promote investment attraction in the high-tech sector, contributing to creating a spillover effect to promote the development of science and technology throughout the country.

At the meeting to hear reports from units on the progress of the Hanoi High-Tech Biological Park project, Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh noted that this is a project that has been delayed for a long time. Therefore, removing obstacles and speeding up the project's progress is an urgent requirement.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee requested relevant departments, branches and the People's Committee of Bac Tu Liem district to focus and resolutely direct, with a spirit of urgency and greater efforts, striving to start the project in September 2025.
