“Popular AI learning” in Thai Nguyen
Thai Nguyen province has implemented a program to develop science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, notably the plan "Popular AI learning" for the period of 2024-2025, issued on December 13, 2024.
The program has been initially successful, spreading to agencies, units and communities, contributing to improving digital skills, promoting the application of AI in production, business and social life. Currently, the province has trained 300 cadres, civil servants and public employees as core members to support the community in accessing AI through online classes on the luyenai.vn platform, communication groups, sharing rich knowledge, attracting tens of thousands of participants.
During this process, departments and branches organized many workshops on AI applications in work, such as modernizing the workspace, updating Dell's AI solutions, and organizing communication activities, training on digital skills, blockchain and e-commerce for union members and youth. The young generation, with about 300,000 union members, plays a pioneering role in digital transformation, and directly guides people to install and use digital services such as VNeID, cashless payments, contributing to improving the quality of public services and community digital awareness.
In addition, businesses and cooperatives in the province have actively applied AI and supporting tools such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot to automate processes, improve productivity and manage effectively. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huy Dung commented that agencies have actively organized practical training, strong press propaganda, and large online learning groups. The province continues to expand the "People's AI learning" program through many forms, building a network of community AI lecturers to spread more widely throughout the province.
