Promoting Vietnam-China business cooperation for sustainable development
On May 29 in Ho Chi Minh City, the Conference “Technology Transfer, Trade and Investment Connection China - Vietnam 2025” attracted hundreds of delegates, businesses and experts from both countries, demonstrating efforts to promote Vietnam-China economic relations in the context of increasingly strong innovation and digital transformation.

Overview of the conference

With the topic “Cooperation and support for businesses for development”, the conference focused on contents, such as e-commerce development, investment experience of Chinese enterprises in Vietnam, and opportunities for cooperation and market expansion. The main highlight was the activity “Trade promotion - connecting supply and demand”, helping businesses meet, negotiate and establish long-term cooperative relationships, in addition to vibrant exhibition stores introducing products and services.

Mr. Le Toan Thang, Deputy Director of the National Supporting Innovative Startups Center commented that careful preparation and activities, such as workshops and technology exhibitions have built an effective ecosystem to support startups. The conference is also an important opportunity for Vietnamese startups to connect with investors, innovation support funds and technical partners, contributing to promoting the national innovation ecosystem. Mr. Thang pledged to continue to accompany and create conditions for sustainable cooperation, especially between young and innovative businesses of the two countries.

Experts emphasized that to turn cooperation opportunities into reality, the two sides need to focus on building trust and transparency in cooperation mechanisms and moving towards a fair and mutually beneficial cooperation model. In the context of increasing attention to sustainable development and green transformation, Vietnamese enterprises expect China to provide clean, energy-saving and environmentally friendly technologies. At the same time, in the context of global trade fluctuations, the two countries need to promote extensive cooperation in the fields of high technology and innovation to strengthen internal strength and expand the common economic space towards sustainable development and long-term stability.
