Research team

The project aims to contribute to the preservation and development of a long-standing tourism brand, bearing many cultural colors of the Tay Do region and the Mekong Delta. Tan Loc Islet is known as a land rich in historical and cultural traditions and is a place that preserves many typical values of the West in general.

Dr. Nguyen Quoc Nghi – Lecturer at School of Economics, Can Tho University

With its system of ancient houses, rich fruit gardens, and the gentle, friendly lifestyle of the local people, Tan Loc Islet is not only an attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists, but also a living testament to the cultural exchange between tradition and modernity.

To improve the scientific efficiency and practical value of the project, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Nghi - Reviewer commented: Tan Loc Islet is a tourist destination associated with the culture of Can Tho City and the Mekong Delta region. The project of protecting the tourism trademark of a place needs to enhance the figurative and artistic qualities, etc. so that the brand name can evoke a connection with a place with many spiritual values.

Council's members

At the same time, the Project needs to develop research methods to fully exploit the proposed research objectives. In addition, the Project needs to link with digital transformation applications to map administrative boundaries, improving the effectiveness of digital transformation of tourism. Can Tho City currently has many platforms that allow for connection, application, and improving the effectiveness of accessing tourism projects.

In addition, for tourism project, it is necessary to improve the effectiveness of access, focusing on exploiting the socio-economic values. At the same time, the effectiveness indicators of the project also need to be measured specifically and in detail.
