Support cooperatives to accelerate digital transformation
In the context of strong digital transformation, Can Tho City Cooperative Alliance has coordinated with relevant sectors to implement many programs to support cooperatives in applying technology to production and business activities.

Can Tho Green Agricultural Products Cooperative proactively applied a variety of digital tools to business activities.

Thanks to that, many cooperatives have flexibly used management and operation software to optimize operations and enhance competitiveness in the digital market. At the same time, training programs, workshops and seminars help cooperatives grasp the trend of digital transformation, apply information technology to manage documents, declare taxes, use digital signatures and electronic invoices, contributing to improving operational efficiency and promoting sustainable development.

Among the typical cooperatives in Can Tho City, the Green Agricultural Products Cooperative in Thot Not District has successfully applied digital transformation. This cooperative uses Kiotviet software to manage sales, along with promoting products via Facebook, Zalo and e-commerce platforms, such as Shopee, Tiki to expand the market. Thanks to online channels, the cooperative purchases thousands of tons of vegetables and fruits each month from farmers and ensures food hygiene and safety standards such as VietGAP, OCOP, thereby building prestige and enhancing competitiveness. In addition to the agricultural sector, Chi Anh Transport Service Cooperative in Ninh Kieu District has also actively applied technology in management and operation. They have built a website, equipped computers, cameras to monitor journeys, used Zalo chat groups to connect and update new information, helping to improve service quality and stabilize income for members. These steps have helped cooperatives develop sustainably in the increasingly expanding digital economic environment.

However, in order for cooperatives to make a breakthrough and exploit the full potential of digital transformation, relevant agencies need to promote propaganda, training, organize seminars and facilitate experience exchange. At the same time, it is necessary to mobilize resources to invest in technological infrastructure, equip modern equipment and have policies to support high-quality human resources, especially those with IT and artificial intelligence skills. These activities will create favorable conditions for cooperatives to adapt quickly to the digital environment, promoting stronger and more sustainable development in the era of Industry 4.0.
