Developing a Socio-Economic Analysis and Monitoring Toolkit for Can Tho City Governance
On the afternoon of April 15, 2026, the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho City convened a council to select organizations and individuals to carry out the city-level science and technology project titled “Developing a Socio-Economic Analysis and Monitoring Toolkit for Can Tho City Governance.” The project is led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Thanh Danh, with Can Tho University as the implementing institution.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Ngo Anh Tin, Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho City, alongside representatives from various departments, experts, and scientists specializing in technology, data, and innovation.
Building a Modern Data Platform and Analytical Tools
According to the project proposal, the initiative aims to establish a system of tools for analyzing, monitoring, and forecasting socio-economic trends to support the city’s leadership in evidence-based, timely, and data-driven decision-making.
