A panoramic view of the meeting
At the meeting, delegates agreed on the policy of expanding the e-office system to the grassroots level. This implementation aims to improve the efficiency of information exchange and work management; support village and neighborhood officials in accessing and applying digital technology; and build a synchronized and seamless digital working environment from the provincial level to the grassroots.
Representatives from VNPT Lang Son presented two options for configuring accounts on the VNPT iOffice system: setting each village/neighborhood as an independent unit or configuring accounts in groups.
Notably, the Digital Technology Center introduced a Virtual Assistant application with many practical features specifically for grassroots officials, such as: voice control to open software and compose documents; hands-free news reading; and intelligent mouse operation support.
During the conference, delegates focused their discussions on analyzing the pilot program's roadmap, infrastructure, and the technological adaptability of the older workforce.
Many practical suggestions were put forward to ensure the feasibility of implementing the technology in the local context.
Concluding the meeting, Mr. Bui Duc Trung, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Lang Son province, requested that the Digital Technology Center incorporate feedback, refine the plan, and optimize the virtual assistant to be as simple and user-friendly as possible. The People's Committees of the wards should report to the Party Committee on the policy and coordinate closely with the Department to ensure effective implementation.
VNPT Lang Son is preparing detailed, visually appealing instruction manuals so that local staff can quickly access and proficiently operate the system.
This pilot project is expected to be a breakthrough in digital transformation at the local level, bridging the technology gap and enhancing the management capacity of officials who are closest to the people.
