Touching Technology - Unlocking the Future: A key highlight at the 2026 Science, Technology, Culture and Tourism Week in Ca Mau
One of the highlights of the Science, Technology, Culture, and Tourism Week, held from April 24th to May 1st in Ca Mau, was the exhibition and experience space showcasing science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation. With the theme "Touching Technology - Opening the Future," the exhibition space featured over 50 open-plan, modern booths, attracting a large number of people, especially young technology enthusiasts.
According to Mr. Quach Van An, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Ca Mau province, the space is designed with a visitor-centric approach, creating conditions for people to directly access and experience technology models that are being implemented or have high potential for application in the locality, such as: digital government, digital economy, smart city, digital agriculture, digital services, unmanned aerial vehicles, and many platforms and solutions from large enterprises.

Notably, the experiential and interactive zone, designed and implemented by the Ca Mau Provincial Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CiNEC) in collaboration with FPT Schools (Can Tho), features an open, modern space that enhances connectivity and inspires creativity.
Specifically, the selection of products and display models is based on three main groups of criteria. First, high practical applicability: Priority is given to solutions that can be immediately applied to production and daily life, especially in the fields of agriculture and aquaculture. Second, innovation and creativity: Products must clearly demonstrate scientific and technological elements and digital transformation. Third, community and scalability: Easy to access and replicate.
As a key link connecting the government, businesses, research institutes, universities, and the innovation and startup ecosystem, the Department of Science and Technology of Ca Mau province hopes that this event will not only focus on exhibitions but also aim for deeper integration into technology transfer, testing new models locally, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in accessing digital solutions, and promoting product consumption through digital platforms.
