Hanoi University of Industry: Encouraging scientific research among students
On June 26, 2025, in Hanoi, Hanoi University of Industry held its 16th Student Scientific Research Conference and Award Ceremony. The conference aimed to summarize scientific research activities within the student community and affirm the importance of fostering innovation among students in implementing the Party and State's major policies on breakthrough development of the national STID (Sustainable Development Initiative).

Associate Professor Dr. Trinh Trong Chuong - Head of the Science and Technology Department (Hanoi University of Industry) said that with 626 research projects successfully defended before 13 specialized councils, scientific research activities have attracted the participation of 2,515 students of the University. Notably, from the research results of students, 168 articles have been published in specialized scientific journals, and especially 10 articles are listed in prestigious international journals…
Speaking at the conference, Associate Professor Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector of the University, emphasized that science, technology, and innovation are key tasks to promote the national economy. The University leadership affirmed that the University's scientific research activities, including the student research movement, are always given special attention by the University's Board of Directors. Hanoi University of Industry reaffirms its commitment to putting learners at the center and linking training with practice, with the goal of becoming a leading research and application university in Vietnam, training high-quality human resources, achieving sustainable development, and successfully integrating into the global community.
To promote scientific research, technology, and innovation, in the coming period, the University will continue to create favorable conditions and develop and implement many strong incentive policies so that all students have the opportunity to access and experience scientific research activities.
