Improving the Administrative Reform Index in the Agriculture and Environment Sector
On April 22nd, the Department of Agriculture and Environment (DARD) of Tay Ninh province organized a seminar titled "Proposing Solutions to Improve the Administrative Reform Index in 2026". The seminar was chaired by Mr. Nguyen Tan Thuan, Deputy Director of the DARD. Mr. Tran Hai Tuan, Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Affairs, and representatives from various provincial departments and agencies also attended.

Administrative reform has always been identified by the Department of Agriculture and Environment as one of its key and breakthrough tasks, in line with the directives of the Government, the Prime Minister, and the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee; focusing intensely and resolutely on its effective and efficient implementation, linked to building a service-oriented, professional, and modern administration.
However, according to the results of the 2025 Administrative Reform Index assessment announced by the Provincial People's Committee, in addition to the achievements, the Department of Agriculture and Environment still has shortcomings and limitations that need to be analyzed, their causes clarified, and comprehensive solutions implemented.
At the seminar, representatives from various units exchanged ideas and proposed solutions to improve the Administrative Reform Index. Specifically, the Department of Agriculture and Environment needs to focus on leadership and management, improve the effectiveness of public awareness campaigns; simplify administrative procedures to reduce costs for individuals and organizations in carrying out administrative procedures;...
Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Tan Thuan acknowledged the contributions and provided further information on some key areas for the future to address shortcomings in administrative reform, contributing to building a service-oriented, professional, and modern administration.
