In the agricultural sector, notable achievements include high-quality rice production models that reduce emissions on a scale of 900 hectares; the development of new cassava varieties resistant to cassava mosaic disease; the cultivation of MD2 pineapples, a key fruit crop, according to VietGAP standards; and the production of new varieties of fruits and vegetables linked to product consumption.
The livestock sector focuses on developing models for egg-laying chicken farming using digital technology, VietGAHP-certified meat goose farming, super-egg laying duck farming using recirculating systems, disease-free pig farming, and improving the cattle herd through artificial insemination.
In the aquaculture sector, many models of shrimp farming applying IoT technology, sustainable shrimp farming along the value chain, and marine fish farming using HDPE cages certified under VietGAP will be implemented, contributing to climate change adaptation and environmental protection.
