Da Nang University incorporates "Digital Literacy for the Popular" into its curriculum: Removing the "bottleneck" in digital skills development within the university.
In the context of digital transformation becoming an inevitable requirement, universities in Da Nang have proactively incorporated "Digital Literacy for the Popular" into their teaching and training activities, aiming to equip students with fundamental digital skills and contribute to solving the shortage of qualified digital workforce.

The University of Technology, Da Nang University (DUT) is organizing the 9th DUT - Utsunomiya University International Workshop, creating an international academic environment for students to contribute ideas for sustainable urban development.
In reality, despite positive developments in collaboration between schools, research institutes, and businesses, a gap still exists between training and practical needs. Students lack practical skills, while businesses require a workforce capable of working immediately in a digital environment. This is the "bottleneck" that training institutions in Da Nang are striving to overcome.
At the University of Da Nang, the implementation of "Digital Literacy for the Popular" is integrated into skills-based courses, extracurricular activities, and practical experience programs. Students are exposed to practical content such as using digital platforms, basic data analysis, information security, as well as skills for studying and working in a digital environment.
Several member units, such as the Polytechnic University and the University of Technical Education, have intensified the organization of workshops, international cooperation programs, and applied research projects, creating an environment for students to learn and practice simultaneously, gradually improving their digital skills and innovative thinking.
According to education experts, introducing "Digital Literacy for the Popular" into universities goes beyond simply equipping students with basic skills; it also contributes to reforming training methods towards openness, flexibility, and practical relevance. This is also a crucial solution for strengthening connections between universities and businesses, aiming for training that meets market demands.
In the coming period, Da Nang University will continue to improve its training programs, standardize digital learning materials, and strengthen cooperation with technology companies, thereby making "Digital Literacy for the People" a platform for popularizing digital skills for students.
The implementation of this model is expected to contribute to the formation of a generation of students with comprehensive digital skills, meeting the development requirements of the digital economy, while promoting the science, technology, and innovation ecosystem in the Central region.
